CINCINNATI (WLS) –A federal judge on Friday rejected a lawsuit filed by Cincinnati Attorney General Michael Katz and the U. S. Food and Drug Administration that accused the pharmaceutical company of illegally selling prescription drugs through the website of the Internet “VIPCERT.”
The suit, filed Friday in the Eastern District of New York, is one of more than a dozen suits against Pfizer Inc. that have been filed with the FDA in several cases, including one against the manufacturer of Viagra. The police are also investigating the case, as the suspect was known to have worked as a courier in Jamaica.
